Nothing has officially introduced the Nothing Ear (3a) in the Philippines, the next generation of its (a) series earbuds. It launched alongside the Nothing Phone (4b) locally at an event at The Grid, Power Plant Mall.
This also comes after the global launch early this month.
Nothing Ear (3a)
The Nothing Ear (3a) is the successor to the Ear (a) and the latest member of the playful (a) series. It is designed for a generation that sees technology as an extension of their personality.
The Ear (3a) is equipped with 32MB of built-in storage in the earbuds that allows you to capture audio moments via Audio Snapshot. It lets you instantly clip media you’re listening to by simply pinching both earbuds. Additionally, you can record calls and meetings from the earbuds.
These recordings are then automatically synced to the Nothing X app, where you can replay them, edit, share, or have them transcribed.
The earbuds are equipped with new 12mm dynamic drivers that are said to deliver deeper bass and greater detail. The larger drivers are said to produce bass frequencies of up to 5dB stronger than their predecessor. Moreover, it has an aerospace-inspired PMI diaphragm.
These are certified for Hi-Res Audio Wireless and support LDAC. This enables high-quality audio transmission up to 24-bit/96 kHz.
It also features up to 45dB of Wideband Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency Mode.
The charging case features a refined 1×3 LED status light that allows you to quickly see battery levels, charging status, pairing progress, and other key system information.
The Ear (3a) delivers up to 42 hours of playback with the charging case and up to 10 hours on the earbuds with ANC disabled. With ANC on, you can enjoy up to 25 hours of total playback.
Pricing and Availability
The Nothing Ear (3a) comes in Black, White, Yellow, and Pink, and it is priced in the Philippines at PHP 5,990.
You can pre-order the new earphones until August 14, 2026. You can get it at PHP 2,500 off when you get it with the Phone (4b), along with a Nothing coin purse, keychain, and bottle opener.
