Nothing has just launched its latest products, namely the Nothing Ear (3a) and the Phone (4b). The former is the second ear series device to use the (a) moniker, following the Ear (a) introduced in 2024.
Nothing Ear (3a)
The Nothing Ear (3a) features a similar design to its predecessor but has more of a lip. The case design of the Ear (3a) looks pretty similar to the outer cup design of the Headphone (a). Moreover, the latest Ear (a) member shares its color options with its Headphone counterpart.
The company announced that the Ear (3a) features the new Audio Snapshot, allowing you to capture all the things you hear. Additionally, it features improved Active Noise Cancellation.
The earbuds themselves are equipped with 12mm audio drivers with PMI+TPU diaphragms. They also support Static Spatial Audio and an LDAC Hi-Res Wireless certification.
It is also equipped with a 55mAh battery, which is said to offer up to:
- AAC: 10 hours ANC off
- AAC: 6 hours ANC on
- AAC (with charging case): 42 hours total ANC off
- AAC (with charging case): 25 hours total ANC on
- LDAC: 6 hours ANC off
- LDAC: 4.5 hours ANC on
The charging case also has 3 pixel LED lights to convey battery status, charging status, and pairing status.
Other features include IP54 water resistance for both the buds and the case, Low Latency Mode, and Nothing X support.
Pricing and Availability
The Nothing Ear (3a) is available in four colors – Black, White, Yellow, and Pink. It is available globally for:
- USD 99 (around PHP 6,100)
- GBP 99 (around PHP 8,100)
- EUR 99 (around PHP 7,000)
Like the Nothing Phone (4b), we expect the Ear (3a) to arrive in the Philippines at a later date via Digital Walker, open_source by Beyond the Box, and the Nothing PH online store.
