The upcoming device will reportedly feature a new Sony IMX905 main sensor that retains a 1.22μm pixel size and adds a variable aperture. This will allow the lens to adjust its light intake physically. This upgrade promises better depth of field control, improved low-light exposure, and more natural portrait shots without relying heavily on software processing.

Additionally, other camera features include the telephoto (IMX973) and ultrawide (IMX972) lenses, appears to carry over from the previous generation. Expected to launch in September 2026 with the new A20 Pro chip, the iPhone 18 Pro Max could come with a catch: rumors suggest a steep $200 price increase driven by rising component costs.

Apple has not commented on the cybersecurity incident or the leaked specifications. Stay tuned for upcoming updates.
