Retroid, following the success of its popular Pocket G2 and Pocket 6, has officially teased its next handheld console: the Pocket Nova.
Retroid Pocket Nova
Announced via Retroid’s Discord and X (formerly Twitter) channels, the Pocket Nova marks a shift in design by featuring a classic 4:3 aspect ratio. This display format is considered the gold standard for retro gaming emulation, as it matches the native output of vintage consoles without awkward letterboxing.
To stand out in a growing market of similar devices, the brand is equipping the Pocket Nova with a premium OLED screen. This hardware choice promises players vibrant colors, excellent contrast, and deep blacks, breathing new life into classic titles.

While internal specifications, pricing, and an official release date remain strictly under wraps, the brief tease has already generated considerable buzz, so stay tuned for future updates.
