Samsung Display is reportedly developing a futuristic “holographic” screen that could change how users interact with their devices.
Samsung Holographic Display in Development?
According to leaks, the South Korean company is developing a next-generation display system codenamed “MH1.” This experimental technology allegedly integrates a nano-structured holographic layer directly into AMOLED panels. By utilizing advanced eye-tracking and diffractive beam-steering, the display can project 3D-like depth effects without the need for 3D glasses.

Moreover, project MH1 reportedly maintains a full 4K resolution. This ensures that standard 2D content remains crisp while allowing users to “look around” 3D objects by simply tilting their device.
Insiders suggest it is still in early research and development. While a commercial launch is not expected until at least 2030, rumors are already swirling that Apple may be a primary customer for its own rumored “Spatial iPhone.”
