HMD may be preparing a new addition to its minimalist lineup dubbed “HMD Fame,” designed for users seeking a simpler, distraction-free alternative to modern smartphones.

The leaked photos reveal a pocket-sized device in a vibrant blue finish, featuring highly rounded corners and an approachable, almost toy-like shape. When placed side by side with last year’s HMD XploraOne, the Fame appears smaller than conventional mobile phones.
While official specifications, pricing, and launch dates remain unconfirmed, industry experts expect the Fame to function as a hybrid feature phone. It is likely to mirror recent entry-level devices like the HMD Touch 4G, which blends essential everyday features, such as 4G connectivity and basic cloud services, with a highly simplified user experience.
This move aligns with a growing consumer trend toward digital minimalism. More people are actively looking to curb screen time without completely sacrificing access to essential internet services and messaging capabilities.
