Francisco Motors, a company most known for its jeepneys, has just teased its own electric SUV called the FMC Elektron, during Labor Day in the Philippines.

The company looks to be working on the next chapter of its story with the FMC Elektron, an EV SUV. This is said to be done through the collaboration between its teams in California and China, and its technology partners.

However, this is said to be designed for the global market. Company Chairman, Elmer Francisco, clarified that the company is still weighing whether the SUV will click in the Philippines. He mentioned in his post that it will require 1,000 pre-orders to consider local assembly by 2028.

Based on the teasers, the FMC Elektron will have a 5-door layout with angular headlights and tail lights. Another post showcases the interior design, which has a clean, modern design with a horizontal display for its dashboard. Additionally, it has a larger display in the middle for its infotainment and a digital knob for its transmission.
