HONOR has officially launched its new flagship Magic8 and Magic8 Pro smartphones in China, debuting the customizable AI button feature.
This dedicated hardware key is designed to provide rapid access to the Yoyo intelligent assistant and perform other user-defined actions. Both premium devices are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform.

The high-end Magic8 Pro stands out with a 6.71-inch OLED LTPO display, boasting a 120Hz refresh rate and a staggering 6,000 nits of peak brightness. Its robust camera system features a triple-lens array, including a 200MP telephoto unit with 3.7x optical zoom, a 50MP primary camera with OIS, and a 50MP ultrawide sensor. The device packs a massive 7,200mAh Si-C battery (in China), offering blazing-fast 100W wired and 80W wireless charging.

The standard Magic8 retains the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC and introduces a new AI button experience. It features a 6.58-inch OLED LTPO display and a 7,000mAh battery, with support for 90W wired charging. Its rear camera setup includes a 50MP OIS main sensor and a 64MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.

Both phones run MagicOS 10, with pre-orders currently open in China. The base Magic8 model starts at CNY 4,499 (approximately $630). Honor has confirmed that the Magic8 series will soon be available in global markets.
