HONOR has officially listed the upcoming HONOR 400 and HONOR 400 Pro on the company’s website ahead of their scheduled May 22 launch event. The listing confirms several key specifications for both devices, and things are exciting to say the least.
HONOR 400: Impressive Mid-Tier Alternative

The standard HONOR 400 shares many features with its Pro counterpart while making select compromises to achieve a more accessible price point. The camera system remains largely identical save for the absence of the telephoto lens. The processor is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, along with 12GB of RAM as well as 512GB of storage.
The display retains the impressive 5,000-nit peak brightness and 120 Hz refresh rate, with a slightly adjusted 1264×2736 resolution. It packs a 6,000mAh battery with support for 80W wired charging, with no mention of wireless charging support.
The standard model features a slimmer 7.3mm profile and lighter 184-gram weight. It will be available in Midnight Black, Desert Gold, and Meteor Silver color variants. While it offers a less robust IP66 dust and water resistance rating compared to the Pro model, it still maintains the same five-star drop resistance certification.
HONOR 400 Pro: Premium Specifications

The HONOR 400 Pro features 200MP main camera utilizing a substantial 1/1.4″ type sensor. Along with a 50MP telephoto unit with 3x optical zoom and optical image stabilization (OIS), which uses a customized Sony IMX856 sensor, and a 12MP ultrawide lens offering a 112-degree field of view. For selfies, the device uses a 50MP front-facing camera with an f/2.0 aperture.
For the display, you get 5,000-nit peak brightness, 1280×2800 resolution, and a 120 Hz refresh rate. There is also 3,840 Hz PWM dimming and a remarkably low 1.5-nit minimum brightness for comfortable viewing in dark environments.
Powering the device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, paired with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Power management is handled by a 6,000mAh silicon-carbon (Si/C) battery supporting rapid 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging capabilities.
The HONOR 400 Pro also boasts comprehensive IP68 and IP69 certifications for dust and water resistance, alongside a 5-star SGS rating for drop and crush resistance. Additional features include NFC functionality, dual speakers, and an infrared blaster. It measures 8.1mm in thickness and weighs 205 grams. Consumers will have three color options: Midnight Black, Lunar Grey, and Tidal Blue.
We can’t wait for the official unveiling on May 22, where more details about these devices will become available. Which device are more interested in? The Pro? or the vanilla? Let us know in the comments!
