Cignal has unveiled its groundbreaking Cignal Super App, establishing itself as the pioneer streaming aggregator in the country. This innovative platform consolidates multiple streaming services into a single, user-friendly application, eliminating the need for consumers to manage multiple subscriptions and applications.

Transformative Digital Entertainment Solution

The Cignal Super App represents a strategic evolution in Cignal’s business model, marking its transition from a traditional pay TV provider to a comprehensive multimedia company. The platform delivers an extensive array of entertainment options including feature films, television series, live channels, sporting events, documentaries, and lifestyle content—all accessible through a unified subscription model with a single login credential.

This service addresses the increasingly fragmented streaming market by providing a centralized platform tailored to the user’s digital consumption habits. The Super App takes out the super hassle of navigating in between multiple applications and managing various subscription services.

Premium Content Portfolio

Cignal Super subscribers gain immediate access to an expansive content library with prestigious entertainment options from multiple providers. The platform includes HBO Originals such as “The White Lotus,” “The Last of Us,” and “House of the Dragon,” alongside beloved properties including “Friends,” DC Comics adaptations, and the “Harry Potter” franchise through Max, Warner Bros. Discovery’s premier streaming service.

Additionally, the platform incorporates Lionsgate Play’s catalog, featuring popular film franchises like “John Wick” and the “Paris Has Fallen” series. Asian entertainment enthusiasts can access premium content from Viu, including popular Korean dramas like “True Beauty” and upcoming variety programs such as “World of Street Woman Fighter.”

The comprehensive offering extends to 100 live television channels via Cignal Play, live sports coverage through Pilipinas Live, educational documentaries from Curiosity Stream, contemporary entertainment from Fuse+, and family-friendly programming from Hallmark+.

Subscription Models and Introductory Pricing

Cignal Super offers two distinct subscription tiers to accommodate varying consumer preferences and budgets. The Premium Plus plan, priced at PHP 799 per month, provides comprehensive access to all available streaming services within the platform. Alternatively, the Premium plan at PHP 499 monthly delivers a curated selection of content options.

As part of its launch strategy, Cignal has introduced a limited-time promotional offer until May 31, 2025. New subscribers can access the Premium Plus tier at a rate of PHP 399 per month or the Premium plan for PHP 249 monthly.

Strategic Vision and Market Position

Gerard L. Milan, Chief Revenue Officer of Cignal, emphasized the significance of this launch, stating: “We are extremely excited to introduce Cignal Super, the first and only streaming aggregator in the Philippines.”

Milan highlighted the proven success of their technology partner, Tata Play, in implementing similar models internationally and expressed enthusiasm about bringing this experience to the Philippine market.
