Sonshine Media Network International (SMNI) confirmed that Meta has suspended its Facebook pages, along with those of its affiliates DZAR 1026 and SMNI Integrated News.
SMNI’s Alleged Violation
The media network stated the suspension was due to “allegedly expressing hatred or contempt for a group of people and using harmful racial stereotypes,” citing violations of Meta’s community standards. The media network denies posting harmful content.

This suspension occurred following the arrest of former President Rodrigo Duterte, a close associate of Apollo Quiboloy, the owner of the media network.
In addition, Senator Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa, a Duterte ally, expressed concern regarding the suspension. He directed followers to the media network’s alternative Meta accounts, “Pulso ng Bayan” and “Newsblast.”
Currently, the media network’s pages are not publicly accessible on Facebook, YouTube, or Instagram. Their website remains active.
