Infinix has unveiled its first self-developed power management chip, the Cheetah X1. This innovative chip will power the upcoming NOTE 40 Series smartphones, elevating the brand’s acclaimed All-Round FastCharge technology to new heights with the introduction of All-Round FastCharge 2.0.

Cheetah X1 Chip

The Cheetah X1 chip seamlessly integrates three powerful modules into one compact package, tailored to fuel the versatile All-Round FastCharge 2.0. The All-round Support Module accommodates eight charging scenarios, consolidating protocols and adjusting charge across diverse use cases, including up to 100W multi-speed wired charging, wireless charging, wired reverse charging, wireless reverse charging, bypass charging, AI charging protection for night charging, extreme-temp tech for -20°C, and multi-protocol charging.

The High-precision Power Monitor Module ensures real-time current and voltage detection, balancing charging efficiency and temperature control to safeguard battery life and maintain the phone’s health. Meanwhile, the Safety Module incorporates 63 protection measures, covering nearly all potential unsafe charging scenarios, automatically activated through the chip’s monitoring and recognition capabilities, further enhancing user convenience.

Innovation Meets Dedication in Product Design

Infinix dedicated two years to researching global consumer insights, assembling a specialized team to leverage advanced packaging technology and comprehensive functional integration. The result is a customized power management chip that stands as the most feature-rich in the market.

Adopting wafer-level packaging technology, Infinix significantly reduced the Cheetah X1’s chip size, becoming one of the smallest devices available. This technology shortens signal transmission paths, minimizing electrical signal delays and enhancing electrical performance, particularly in high-speed data transmission and high-frequency applications. Consequently, the chip’s processing efficiency per unit has increased by an impressive 204%.

Catering to the Tech-Savvy Consumer

“At Infinix, customer feedback is at the core of our innovation process. With each new generation of our mobile phones, we strive to incorporate this feedback to deliver the best products to our tech-savvy consumers. That’s why we’ve taken the bold step to develop our own chip, elevating our All-Round FastCharge technology to new heights. This allows us to offer cutting-edge functionality in control protocol circuits, charging applications, and AI integrations, all while ensuring safety and reliability. Our commitment is to provide our customers with top-notch phones that excel in functionality and performance.”
