TECNO Mobile has just introduced TECNO AI, with the aim to make tasks on devices simpler for its users. This was announced at Mobile World Congress 2024 (MWC 2024) and looks to go up against Samsung’s Galaxy AI.
Among the features of TECNO’s AI offering include a new AI assistant, translation features, imaging features, and more.
This was introduced alongside the TECNO Pova 6 Pro 5G, the Camon 30 series, a new concept device, and more of its innovations and products.
TECNO AI
With TECNO AI, the company will introduce Ella, an ‘all-around’ personal assistant. Among the things you can do with the new assistant include asking it to turn on Bluetooth, asking it a variety of questions, asking it to write invitations or emails, helping plan for a trip, and summarizing notes.
The AI feature will also offer translation functions like translating your calls by showing text on your screen and translating social media chats and videos. Moreover, it will offer subtitles in videos.
Of course, the new AI will also bring generative AI features specifically in photo editing and more visual executions. This includes:
- Photo Enhancement with Generative AI – improve your photos like portraits with generative AI
- Generative AI wallpapers – generate your own wallpapers from text prompts
- Generating Pictures from Sketch – have it make a full-on picture from your sketch
- Remove Strangers from Your Photos
- Easily Cutout Pictures – cut out elements in photos to add or edit separately
TECNO didn’t specify though when or how this new feature will be introduced but we expect it to arrive with its upcoming smartphones.
