The update was the one rolled out over the previous weekend. Users reported problems with the phone’s camera via the OnePlus forum.

Reports differ from photos not being saved to camera app crashes after taking two or three photos at a time. It seems like the issue isn’t affecting all users, but it’s still quite a worrying issue, especially for users of the device who are just looking to update.

If you’re experiencing issues with the updates, make sure you file a report with the company via its website.

It is speculated that the issues lie with the February update in particular as OnePlus has been testing OxygenOS for several months and the issues only started after the recent update.

The company has yet to release a statement though, as of writing this. We will update this if a statement is released or an update is rolled out to fix the issues.
