HONOR unveils the HONOR MagicOS 8.0, a mobile operating system based on Android 14, featuring a MagicLM large language model and an intent-based IUI for proactively suggesting services.

HONOR also introduced the Magic Portal, a new feature that uses LLM and IUI to provide context-based shortcut recommendations, allowing users to easily navigate between apps and services.
In addition, the Magic Portal is a multimodal input system that tracks gestures and eye movement on phones. It supports 100 popular apps in China, but details on its global rollout are unknown. MagicOS 8.0 also includes home screen customization, UI speed improvements, shake-to-block ads, and Parallel Spaces.
