As the countdown fell, customers queued up in line with excitement, and as the doors finally opened, they walked in and headed straight to the counter to pick up their new iPhone 15 series devices. Those who had theirs unboxed inside the store right then and there were also given a special prize, an Apple Air Tag.

Those who pre-ordered an iPhone 15, 15 Plus, Pro, or Pro Max were treated to a ton of freebies, courtesy of Switch’s partner brands.

iPhone 15 and 15 Plus

In terms of design, the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus now utilize color-infused back glass and comes in five colors –

iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus have 6.1 and 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR displays, respectively, and feature the Dynamic Island which, for the previous generation, was only available for the Pro and Pro Max.

Both are powered by the A16 Bionic Chip and boast a dual rear camera setup – a 48MP main camera with sensor-shift image stabilization paired with a 12MP Ultrawide unit.

iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max

iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max feature an aerospace-grade Titanium design and are even lighter compared to the previous generation.

The Pro has a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display, while the Pro Max has a 6.7-inch screen. Both run on the new A17 Pro chip which brings hardware-accelerated ray tracing for better graphics performance. These also boast MetalFX Upscaling to deliver high-resolution graphics while consuming less power.

For optics, both have a triple rear camera system – a 48MP Main + 12MP Ultrawide + 12 MP Telephoto lens. The difference is that the Pro offers 3x optical zoom, while the Pro Max can go up to 5x.

All of these devices support MagSafe Wireless charging of up to 15W, Qi Wireless Charging of up to 7.5W, and wired fast-charging which delivers up to 50% charge in around 30 minutes using a 20W adapter. The entire lineup also boasts IP68 water and dust resistance.
