Xiaomi introduced its latest smartwatch – the Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro at the Lei Jun annual speech event. It debuted alongside the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3, Redmi K60 Ultra, and Pad 6 Max.

The Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro features a 1.74-inch 336×480 resolution AMOLED panel with 600 nits of peak brightness and a slim bezel. The panel is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass.

The new Pro variant Smart Band is also equipped with a 290mAh battery that is said to offer two weeks of battery life.

The band offers more typical monitoring like heart rate, SpO2, sleep, and menstrual cycle for women. It also tracks stress levels and offers breath training.

If you’re into sports, it supports over 150 sports modes which include a smart running mode and running lessons. Moreover, it keeps the somatosensor from the Smart Band 8, which is able to track data when you’re doing somatic activities like boxing.

The Smart Band 8 Pro has built-in a GNSS chipset that supports up to five satellite systems including GPS, GLONASS, and Galileo.

The Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro is offered in a variety of straps from silicone and braided to a more premium leather and metallic band. The smart band with silicone straps (Black and White) is priced at CNY 399 (around PHP 3,100), while the blue leather option costs CNY 449 (around PHP 3,500).

The other silicone color options are offered separately at CNY 39 (around PHP 300). Meanwhile, the braided and other leather straps are priced at CNY 99 (around PHP 800). Lastly, the metallic band will set you back to CNY 199 (around PHP 1,600).
