Google has just introduced the Google Pixel 7a, the successor to the Pixel 6a. The latest A-series device now comes with an upgraded chipset and wireless charging.

The Pixel 7a was introduced alongside the Pixel Fold and Pixel Tablet, as well as showcased its advancements in AI in its apps like Gmail and Photos and a peek into the future of Bard. These were all unveiled at a massive Google I/O 2023 Keynote earlier today.

The Google Pixel 7a is built around a 6.1-inch FHD+ OLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate. Housed in a punch hole on the top center of the panel is a 13MP front camera. Meanwhile, around the back, it has a 64MP main sensor and a 13MP ultrawide lens. The main camera is 72% larger than its predecessor, which allows 44% more light.

The new A-series device also features Long Exposure and Super Res Zoom. Additionally, it has the photography experiences that make a Pixel device, a Pixel device. This includes the Magic Eraser and Photo Unblur in Google Photos and Real Tone technology.

Under the hood, it has the Tensor G2 chipset accompanied by 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.

The Google Pixel 7a is now available for USD 499 (around PHP 27,800) for the lone 8GB+128GB memory configuration.

The Coral colorway is also available exclusively on the Google Store and comes with Pixel Buds A-series and a limited case for the device for the same price.
