Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun recently released teaser photos of the Xiaomi Smart Band 8 which is set to launch tomorrow, April 18. What is unique about the teaser photos though is that they highlight other ways to use the smart band including being worn as a pendant for a necklace.
Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Teaser Photos
The photos reveal that the Smart Band 8 will have at least five different straps. The band will have a pill-shaped body and will have at least three different pegs to attach the variety of bands and straps.
In addition to the more ‘traditional’ watch strap, the Smart Band 8 was featured attached to a shoe and hung as a necklace. These already make it drastically more flexible than most smart bands currently available in the market.
The Xiaomi Smart Band 8 is reported to have a 1.62-inch AMOLED panel with an Always-on-Display and support over 100 sports modes.
It will be introduced alongside the Xiaomi 13 Ultra at a launch event tomorrow at 7 PM (Philippine Time).
