Samsung Untold Stories at Night

With an aim of celebrating the prowess of Filipino filmmakers, Samsung recently held a film festival at the BGC Arts Center in Taguig, with the title – Untold Stories at Night.

Samsung tapped five of the country’s top directors and #TeamGalaxy Ambassadors to create original short films, with genres ranging from romance to science fiction. All of which were shot using the Galaxy S22 Ultra.

Siargao_ Day _ Night

Pepe Diokno’s Siargao: Day and Night is a story of resiliency and triumph after Typhoon Odette. The films shows the return of nightlife and life in general, as the beautiful island recovers from the devastation.

Sinag

Directed by Noel Escondo and Tristan Cua of Mobile Filmmaking Philippines, Sinag tells the story of Rafael, who has a dream of performing in his town’s only bar and decides to defy the rules to perform against all odds.

In Mikhael Red’s Lumina, the titular character is a young girl who books a ride to another galaxy and is then pursued by what seemed to be elements of darkness. Lastly, Samantha Lee’s It was a love story (after all) follows star-crossed lovers who get a second chance at love under mysterious circumstances.
