Adam Mosseri, Head of Instagram, announced on Twitter the new features that will be available for Subscribers of Instagram creators. The Subscriber program allows creators to charge their followers a monthly fee to see exclusive content through the app.
These features are Subscriber Chats, Reels, Posts, and Home. These are spaces where creators can share posts, reels, and posts with their Subscribers.
Yes, this includes an exclusive chat which gives Subscribers a space to interact with the creator. This feature can host up to 30 subscribers.
Meanwhile, Home is a new tab on Subscribers’ profiles so they can see the exclusive content.
The company initially announced the program earlier this year to a select number of creators in the US.
