ASUS Zenfone 9 Launched for Global Market with ZenTouch Button

ASUS has just introduced the Zenfone 9 globally. The new iteration of the Zenfone series keeps the compact size of the Zenfone 8.

The Zenfone 9 is built around a 5.9-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10 and HDR10+ certified. Up front is a 12MP Sony IMX663 sensor, while around the back is a 50MP Sony IMX766 main sensor coupled with a 12MP Sony IMX363 ultra-wide lens.

The company introduced a ZenTouch multi-function button that doubles as the power button and fingerprint scanner on the right side. This allows you to do a variety of things like scrolling or refreshing a web page, voice-to-text, media control, and more by swiping or tapping the button.

Under the hood, it has a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset coupled with 8/16GB RAM and 128/256GB storage. It also has a 4300mAh battery with supports 30W HyperCharge.

Other features include stereo speakers designed with the help of Dirac. Additionally, it supports Hi-Res Audio, Snapdragon Sound, and Qualcomm aptX Adaptive. It also has a 3.5mm headphone jack.

ASUS also introduced new accessories for its new device, these are namely the Connex Case, Connex Smart Stand, and Connex Card Holder. Additionally, there’s the Smart Backpack Mount that secures the device to your backpack strap and includes a case and a retractable string to keep the device extra safe.

The Zenfone 9 comes in Midnight Black, Moonlight White, Sunset Red, and Starry Blue color options and starts at EUR 799 for the base 8/128GB variant.
