In its latest venture to bring new experiences to its subscribers, PLDT Home has inked an exclusive partnership with Lionsgate Play, the fast-growing streaming platform for the global content studio behind hits like The Hunger Games, John Wick, Power, The Twilight Saga, Saw, and many more.
As a result of this partnership, PLDT Home Fiber subscribers, both existing and new, of Plan 1699 and up, will be able to access and watch their favorite movies and shows on Lionsgate Play without additional charges until June 1, 2023. Allowing them to enjoy global content across various genres from the comfort of their homes.
To access Lionsgate Play, you can do so by either downloading the mobile app, or accessing the platform using web browser. Content is grouped into categories to make it easier to find what you want. There is also a convenient search feature for more granular browsing.
Curated content, which is basically a collection of content that are related to each other are also available, so you can follow up on shows or movies about a similar topic or theme without having to browse for each one manually.

Among the content available at the Philippine launch of Lionsgate Play is American Crime Drama, Power, which follows the triumph and trials of drug dealer James St. Patrick as he tries to leave his life behind to manage his own nightclub. There’s also Apex, in which Bruce Willis follows Thomas Malone as a wrongfully-convicted prisoner given a chance at freedom.
Also available locally via Lionsgate Play is Gaslit, which stars Julia Roberts and Sean Penn. The new series spotlights Martha Mitchell (Roberts), wife of former US President Nixon’s Attorney General John N. Mitchell, discovering the full extend of the Watergate scandal in the 70s.
