The global pandemic has drastically accelerated digital transformation which was expected to take years to happen. Home Credit, however, didn’t see this as a surprise as it started its digital efforts years ago knowing that digitalization is the next big thing.

The journey started from launching in 2013 and proved to be a gamechanger in the financial landscape.

The brand came into the picture and started catering to Filipinos with little to no credit history and providing affordable installments for gadget and electronic needs. This is what we now call ‘buy now, pay later’ that has found fame during the pandemic.

It has solidified its footprint as the country’s leading consumer finance presence as well as rapidly grown its mobile presence in recent years through the My Home Credit App in Google Play Store. It has done this with over 9000+ stores nationwide and more than 9 million app users.

Home Credit 8th anniversary

As it celebrates its 8th anniversary, you can continue to enjoy its offers through physical touchpoints at partner retail stores and explore contactless options through the app. This will provide every need in one place including loans, paying bills, buying load, contactless payments, shopping through partner stores, discounts, and more.

Additionally, you can be given up to PHP 10,000 of the additional spending limit within the app with the introduction of the newest payment option Qwarta. It can be used to pay bills without additional cost, shop or buy load with discounts, or purchase via QR code.

The brand has also offered financial literacy campaign. This includes the ‘Juan, Two, Three’ campaign and the newest program ‘DigitizED’.

Home Credit introduced a lot of firsts to the Philippine market, and this is a testament of how well we anticipate the needs of the consumers and continue to innovate our services and offerings to meet those demands. Having evolved over the past 8 years, we want to offer a 360° service and be your go-to partner for all your financial needs.”
