
Xiaomi has unveiled a duo of new gaming laptops under its Redmi brand. Redmi G 2021 Gaming Laptop comes in both AMD and Intel flavors, and are powered by NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPUs.

Both offer 16.1-inch screens with up to a 144Hz refresh rate, as well as an upgraded Hurricane Cooling 3.0 system which uses two 12V fans and five all-copper heat pipes to improve thermal performance.

The Intel variant is powered by a Core i5-11260H paired with an RTX 3050, while the AMD model has a Ryzen 7 5800H and up to an RTX 3060 with a TDP of up to 130W. As such, it comes with a 230W charger compared to just 180W for the Intel version.
As for RAM and storage, both offer 16GB and 512GB, respectively. Both feature Wi-Fi 6, a backlit keyboard, and DTS:X Ultra 3D Audio.
Initially launching in China, Redmi G 2021 Intel variant is priced at CNY5,700, while the AMD variant will retail for CNY7,000.
