As with almost every Galaxy S or Note launch, Samsung usually announces a couple of accessories designed to enhance the user experience. For today’s launch, it’s the Galaxy Buds Pro.
Galaxy Buds Pro builds on the core features of its predecessors with a new and less-protrusive design. It also offers IPX7 water resistance.
Underneath the shell, you get a 6.5mm tweeter for higher notes, along with an 11mm woofer for the low frequencies. This combination allows the device to deliver full bass and balanced treble for an enjoyable listening experience. Its 3-mic system along with a dedicated voice pickup unit and wind shield sound technology ensures that every call is crystal clear.
One key feature of the Galaxy Buds Pro is Active Noise Cancellation, which Samsung claims can “cancel” out up to 99% of outside noise. You’ll be able to adjust the amount of Noise Cancellation to your preference.
To make things a bit easier for you, the device can automatically switch from ANC to Ambient Sound, say, when you’re speaking.
Another fun feature of the Galaxy Buds Pro is its ability to automatically switch between multiple connected Galaxy devices. So if you’re watching YouTube on your Galaxy Tab and you get a call on your phone, Auto Switch will let you answer the call with Buds Pro, and then immediately switch back to your tablet once the call has ended.
When connected to a compatible Galaxy device, Galaxy Buds Pro can be used as your primary microphone for recordings. It also lets you experience 360 Audio which emulates the sound of a Multi-Channel Speaker. You’ll be able to hear sounds from different angles and positions, making your movie-watching sessions a lot more engaging.
As for battery life, Samsung claims up to 18 hours of uptime with the case. You can also get an hour of playback with just 5 minutes of charging.
Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro Pricing, Pre-Order, and Availability
Galaxy Buds Pro is priced at PhP9,990 and comes in three colors – Phantom Black, Phantom Silver, and Phantom Violet. It will be exclusively available for Pre-Order on Samsung.com from January 18 until January 28.
Those who will pre-order will get a free wireless charger pad worth PhP1,499.00. Galaxy Buds Pro will be available nationwide starting January 29.
