Ahead of its launch, Redmi GM, Lu Weibing confirmed the existence of the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G as well as its key specs which include a 6.68-inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G, a 4280mAh battery, 33W fast charging, NFC, a headphone jack, and an IR blaster.
Redmi is set to unveil the Redmi Note 9 series in China on November 26. The company is expected to unveil three devices namely a top-tier Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G, a Redmi Note 9 5G, and its 4G variant.
All the specs look pretty similar to the Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite except that the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G will have a 108MP main shooter instead of a 64MP unit.
The box of the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G was also shared by Lu Weibing over the weekend. It features a colorful design and cartoon character artwork.
In addition to the confirmation of the specs of the Note 9 5G, the Geekbench listing of the Redmi Note 9 5G was leaked. The phone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset coupled with 8GB RAM.
The Redmi Note 9 5G is expected to feature a 6.53-inch punch-hole LCD display with FHD+ resolution, a 48MP main lens, and a 5000mAh battery.
There are also rumors that the company will unveil the Redmi Watch alongside the Redmi Note 9 series.
