HONOR has just unveiled three new MagicBook laptops powered by Ryzen 4000 processors in addition to two new Android tablets.

One of the MagicBook laptops is just an AMD alternative to its Intel-powered counterpart, while the other two are refreshes from the Ryzen 3000 chips.

HONOR MagicBook Pro

The Intel-powered MagicBook Pro was released in May this year. The recently announced variant is powered by an AMD Ryzen 5 4600H which has 6 cores and 12 thread CPU as well as a 6 core GPU running at 1.5 GHz.

The 16.1-inch laptop weighs in at 1.7kg with 4.9mm bezels on the top and sides. The panel itself retains the 1080p resolution and 100% sRGB coverage.

The AMD-powered MagicBook Pro also has the same 56Wh battery capacity than its Intel counterpart.

For ports, it has an HDMI 2.0, USB-C, USB-A (3.2 Gen 1), and a 3.5mm audio jack. The pop-up camera in its backlit keyboard also returns in the AMD-powered version.

The HONOR Magic Pro will be available starting September 7 in Germany and September 8 in the UK and France. It is priced at EUR 900 but a EUR 100 discount is available for early birds.

HONOR MagicBook 14 and 15

The HONOR MagicBook 14 and 15 are two light laptops powered by the AMD Ryzen 5 4500U. The Ryzen 5 4500U features a 6 core, 6 thread CPU, and a 6 core GPU. Both MagicBooks have either 8GB or 16GB DDR4 RAM and either 256GB or 512GB NVMe SSD.

The MagicBook 15 has a 15.6-inch display with an 87% screen-to-body ratio, while the smaller MagicBook 14 has a 14-inch display with an 84% screen-to-body ratio. They both feature 1080p resolution in their respective panels.

The two MagicBook laptops have an aluminum body with mylar for the display bezel. Strangely enough, the 14-inch version gets a larger 56Wh battery while the bigger 15.6-inch gets a 42Wh power cell. These are charged via a USB-C with a 65W adapter.

In addition to the USB-C port for charging the two laptops get one USB-A 3.0, one USB-A 2.0, an HDMI port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack for ports.

The refreshed MagicBook 14 will be available in France, Germany, and the UK on September 21. The 8GB/512GB SSD is priced at EUR 750. A launch promo will include one accessory which can be a mouse, HONOR Router, HONOR Bluetooth Earphones, or an HONOR backpack.

Its larger sibling, the HONOR MagicBook 15 will be released in early October and the 8/512GB variant is priced slightly lower at EUR 700.
