It has been reported that Samsung is preparing a successor to the Exynos 9610, reportedly named the Exynos 9630. The Exynos 9610, of course, is the processor used in the Galaxy A50 and a different name and altered clock speeds in other smartphones. The new SoC is expected to make its debut next year.

In addition, the report claims that next year’s Galaxy A51 and A71 will be powered by the new chip, which is in its early testing stage. Details are pretty scarce but it’s expected to use a smaller manufacturing procesibly at 8nm – same as with the flagship Exynos 9820.
