Ahead of Huawei’s press event at the Mobile World Congress 2019 in Barcelona, Spain, a banner of the foldable phone from the brand appeared on a tweet. The photo reveals the name of their foldable phone, the Huawei Mate X.
Twitter user @gimme2pm tweeted the photo showing workers installing a display banner containing the foldable device. Along with the name of the device, the banner reads “World’s first foldable 5G phone”.

Unlike the recently announced Samsung Galaxy Fold, the Huawei Mate X has a single display that wraps around the exterior on the phone. When closed, we’d only be using a section of the folded display.
It is expected that the Mate X will feature a high-end camera. We’ll just have to wait and see, later at 9 PM at Huawei’s press event for the full features and specs of the Mate X.
