Following a teaser from last week, OPPO has finally unveiled its newest budget smartphone with AI Beauty Technology – Meet the OPPO A83.
The OPPO A83 boasts a 5.7-inch HD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, and runs on the same chip that powers the premium F5 lineup, the MediaTek Helio P23. It has 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage expandable with a microSD card, and a 3,180mAh battery.
The phone has a 13MP sensor at the rear, and an 8MP front snapper equipped with AI Beauty Technology similar to the F5. It scans over 200 points on your face and intelligently adjusts the beautification effects according to your gender, age, skin type, and skin tone.
The A83 also runs on ColorOS 3.2 on top of Android 7.1 Nougat, and comes with a number of nifty features like Speedy Facial Unlock, Split Screen, Game Acceleration which not only optimizes the phone’s performance, but also stops notifications from interrupting your game, and O-Share, which lets you transfer files across OPPO devices at a rate that’s 100 times faster than Bluetooth.
The OPPO A83 comes in Black and Gold and is now available at OPPO Concept Stores, Kiosks and Authorized Retailers for PhP9,990.
