Vivo has just announced that a new selfie-centric smartphone is indeed on its way to the Philippines, the Vivo V5s!
The Vivo V5s sports a 20MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture for crystal clear, high-quality selfies. The device also features advanced selfie tools such as an improved Selfie Softlight and advanced night mode for low light selfies.
There’s also a 13MP main camera with f/2.2 aperture, an Ultra High Definition mode that can render up to 52MP photo print-outs, and a dedicated AK4376 Hi-Fi audio chip for an immersive listening experience.
In terms of design, the V5s has a 5.5-inch HD display with Gorilla Glass protection. Its side and back panels seamlessly meet in curved edges and elegant U-shaped cover lines make it very comfortable to hold.
The device is powered by an Octa-Core processor with 4GB of RAM for multi-tasking and runs on Vivo’s Funtouch OS 3.0 on top of Android Marshmallow.
It also features App Clone which lets users which lets users log on to two different accounts with the same social media app. (Currently supports important chat apps like WhatsApp, Line, BBM and Viber)
More details regarding the V5s including pricing and availability will be revealed during the big launch on May 19 at the SM North EDSA Annex.
