Starmobile Announces UP Prime and PLAY Dash Smartphones

Starmobile has just added two new smartphones to its portfolio, the Starmobile UP Prime and PLAY Dash.

The Starmobile UP Prime is a 700MHz compatible handset with a 5-inch, 2.5D curved screen, 16GB of internal storage, and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.

It also has a split-screen feature which lets you run two tasks side by side such as watching a video while composing a text message, or playing music while browsing the web.

The improved operating system also lets you manage your apps along with their respective notifications conveniently. It’s equipped with an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP selfie snapper.


Starmobile PLAY Dash

The PLAY Dash on the other hand, is a thin and lightweight device powered by a quad-core processor and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, letting you experience speed and smart battery performance while playing games, surfing the web, among other tasks.

For imaging, the PLAY Dash has an 8MP rear camera, and a 2MP front camera, making it a great device for capturing your summer moments.

The Starmobile UP Prime will come in Champagne and Dark Grey, and will be priced at PhP3,990, while the Starmobile PLAY Dash will come in Black and White, and will set you back PhP2,490. Both models will be available this month.
