At the Zenfestival Manila event where the latest ZenFones were announced yesterday, Asus CEO Jerry Shen presented a phone to the audience that wasn’t teased before the launch. It’s called the Asus ZenFone Max, and yes, it’s yet another ZenFone. However, while the other ZenFone models that were highlighted during the launch boasted improved designs and camera performance, this one offers superb battery life.
The ZenFone Max gets its name from the fact that it will give you “max” battery life on a ZenFone while you are out and about. And the reason for this is the fact that it comes with a whopping 5,000mAh rechargeable battery. That’s a hefty little battery no matter which way you look at it.
The Asus ZenFone Max hasn’t been released as of yet, but it will arrive in the Philippines some time in October of 2015. We haven’t learned of its retail pricing yet either, but this will surely be revealed leading up to its official local release date. So keep an eye out for it in the next couple of months.
