Vivo released a teaser on its Weibo page, regarding what the hero product/technology that it will be showcasing at this year’s Mobile World Congress in Shanghai, and from the looks of it, it might not just be its first 5G smartphone, but also a new fast-charging technology.
Rumor has it that Vivo’s 120W super fast charging technology can fully juice up a phone with a 4,000mAh battery in a stunning 13mins. That is just crazy. In fact, a brand manager for Vivo IQOO claims 50% in 5 minutes.
To date, Vivo’s fastest charging tech only boasts 44W, and while there are no further details available, we can expect to see it in action, whether in a prototype device, or in the company’s first 5G smartphone.
