HONOR has just debuted its latest flagship devices headlined by the HONOR Magic9 Pro Max. It is joined by the HONOR Magic9 and Magic9 Super Edition.
The new series has a fresh design, straying away from the previous one with a camera island at the top center of the back panel.
HONOR Magic9 Pro Max
The HONOR Magic9 Pro Max boasts a dual 200MP camera module around the back with support for CIPA 8.0 stabilization. These are the main snapper with its 1/1.28-inch sensor and an f/1.57 aperture, and the periscope telephoto camera, which features a 1/1.4-inch lens and an f/2.6 aperture. Rounding out the camera module is a 50MP ultrawide camera.
The camera is also designed in collaboration with the German camera manufacturer ARRI, with cinematic-grade features. Additionally, there’s the H1 imaging chipset and the ARRI Log C3 curve.
Around the front is a 55MP front snapper with a square-format selfie camera, making it the first Android device to have said feature.
In China, there’s also an option for a special photography kit with a G200mm and G500mm teleconverters with a quad-LED array zoom flash.
The HONOR Magic9 Pro Max also supports a cinematic-grade gun microphone with dual 1216 speakers.
Under the hood is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 coupled with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.1. It draws power from an 8800mAh silicon-carbon battery and supports 100W wired fast charging and 80w wireless charging.

Pricing and Availability
The HONOR Magic9 Pro Max comes in three colors: Shadow Black, Silver, and Moss Green. It comes in four memory configurations, priced at in China at:
- 12GB+256GB – CNY 6,499 (around PHP 60,500)
- 12GB+512GB – CNY 6,999 (around PHP 65,100)
- 16GB+512GB – CNY 7,499 (around PHP 69,800)
- 16GB+1TB – CNY 8,499 (around PHP 79,100)
We expect the HONOR Magic9 series to make its debut soon internationally; we hope this will include the Philippines.
