SILENT HILL: Townfall is out now on PlayStation 5, Steam, and the Epic Games Store, Konami Digital Entertainment announced today. Developed by Scottish studio Screen Burn Interactive and co-published by Annapurna Interactive and Konami, Silent Hill: Townfall is the first full-length game in the series to be played entirely in first person.
Silent Hill: Townfall goes fully first person
Players begin as Simon Ordell, an outsider who washes onto the icy-cold marina of St. Amelia, a remote island off the coast of Scotland. The town sits under deep fog and silence, where the presence of those who once lived there and fragments of memory create an unsettling world. The boundaries between reality and fiction blur.
Konami says the first-person view lets players explore the town with a deeper sense of immersion and work through puzzles closely intertwined with the story. Tension comes from hiding from looming threats, life-or-death combat, and puzzles woven into the narrative.
Editions and pre-order bonuses
Standard Edition early purchases and pre-orders include the CRTV Style: Rusted item. CRTV Style: Beach Edition is exclusive to PlayStation 5.
The Deluxe Edition adds a Digital Artbook, a Digital Soundtrack, and Simon’s Outfit: Alternate. Pre-ordering the Deluxe Edition also grants 48 hours of early access, plus both CRTV styles.
Where the series stands
Konami first introduced Silent Hill in 1999, and the franchise has sold over 17.8 million copies worldwide as of the end of June 2026, a figure that counts units shipped, store downloads, and subscription services. Screen Burn was founded in Glasgow in 2015 as No Code and previously released Stories Untold and the BAFTA-award-winning Observation.
