Arjun, the second Year 4 DLC character for Street Fighter 6, officially joins the fight on October 13, 2026. Capcom announced the release alongside a gameplay trailer showing how the fugitive officer uses Yoga Breathing techniques in his search for justice.

Arjun will be available across PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2, and can be purchased individually with Fighter Coins. Players who own the Year 4 Character Pass or Year 4 Ultimate Pass will automatically get access to him on release day.
Who is Arjun?
Arjun served as a police officer in India until the day his trusted partner was murdered and he was framed for the crime. Now living on the run, he dedicates every breath toward uncovering the mystery behind his partner’s death.
His Yoga Breathing techniques make him a stalwart powerhouse that sacrifices speed for powerful strikes. True to the theme, his kit revolves around recoverable damage: hits that chip away at an opponent’s health even when blocked, plus devastating projectiles and clever traps that can steal an opponent’s breath in one fell swoop.

On the mat
Highlights of Arjun’s move set include Arm of Justice, a winding punch with variants for each attack strength and an optional follow-up; Cruel Shoulder, a lunging tackle with different properties depending on strength; and Breathing Ring, a ring of air that can be followed up with Breathing Shockwave to launch a projectile at various angles. Divine Pillar lets Arjun raise the ground into a pillar of earth, and Justice Beyond lets him grab that pillar and swing it at his opponent in any direction.
Defensively, Indomitable Defense hyper-oxygenates his muscles so incoming melee strikes turn into counterattacks dealing recoverable damage, while Ghastly Interrogation is a command throw that deals recoverable damage, or normal damage if the opponent has already taken recoverable damage. His Super Arts are Howling Destruction (Level 1), Instant Oblivion (Level 2), and Yaksha’s Order (Level 3), a cinematic attack that disrupts the opponent’s inner ear before the finisher.
Year 4 lineup and extras
Arjun is the second character released from the Year 4 roster, joining the previously released Yasmine and followed later by Tifa from the FINAL FANTASY VII Remake series and Bosch. His Outfit 1 shows him on the run in pursuit of vengeance, while Outfit 2 depicts an idealized Arjun who has left that quest behind; it can be unlocked by maxing out his Acquisition Gauge in Avatar Arcade Mode or with Fighter Coins.

Alongside the announcement, New Challengers artwork and effects inspired by the Street Fighter movie arrive in Street Fighter 6 today for a limited time.
