Meta has just unveiled the new Meta Glasses that come in three new designs – Meta Adventurer, Meta Fury, and Meta Starfury Kylie Edition. These new glasses were designed in partnership with EssilorLuxottica and expand the company’s offerings of AI Glasses, joining the likes of the Meta Ray-Ban glasses.
Meta Glasses Partnered with EssilorLuxottica
The Meta Glasses feature three-way adjustable nose pads. Other features include:
- 12MP camera and 3K resolution video recording
- up to 8 hours of battery life
- The charging case offers up to 40 hours of use
- Prescription-ready
- discreet open-ear speakers
- 6 microphones
The Adventurer has a clean rectangle shape available in Standard and Large sizes, while the Fury has a bold frame. Lastly, the Starfury Kylie Edition has a slim oval frame designed in collaboration with Kylie Jenner. That version of the Meta Glasses also has Meta AI voiced by Kylie Jenner herself.
The new Meta Glasses are the first AI glasses launched with Meta AI powered by Muse Spark, the first model out of Meta Superintelligence Labs. It allows your AI glasses to deliver smarter answers, better understand what you’re seeing, and help manage your daily life.
Meta has confirmed that it will be introducing dynamic photo this month and pedestrian navigation for displayless glasses. Dynamic photo automatically snaps multiple frames and recommends the best one.
Additionally, there will be support for 14 new languages, including Japanese, Chinese (Mandarin), Hindi, and Korean, to aid with real-time conversations when you travel.
Pricing and Availability
The Meta Glasses are available in the US for:
- Adventurer/Fury– USD 299 (around 18,300) – USD 379 (around PHP 23,200)
- Starfire Kylie Edition – USD 399 (around PHP 24,500)
These come in a variety of colored frames and lenses. These are confirmed to be available in several countries now via the Meta website.
