GIGABYTE announced its AORUS ELITE Series gaming monitors with Tandem OLED technology and the 5K Multi Mode Mini LED at Computex 2026.
The announcement was made alongside the launch of the X870E AORUS INFINITY NEXT and X870 AORUS INFINITY motherboards, the 40th Anniversary AORUS GeForce RTX 50 INFINITY series GPUs, and an entire slew of new products during its ENTER INFINITY event.
GIGABYTE – AORUS Elite Series Gaming Monitors – Computex 2026
Leading the lineup is the world’s first 27-inch 5K Multi Mode Mini LED AORUS ELITE FM275K16P, delivering Retina-level 218 ppi, and it is backed by 2304-zone local dimming. Moreover, Multi-Mode support enables seamless switching between 5K 165Hz, 4K 220Hz, and QHD 330Hz.
The AORUS ELITE OLED Series advances panel technology with fourth-generation Tandem OLED and RealBlack Glossy surface. It reaches an HDR peak brightness of up to 1500 nits. The FO32U24GP also features Dual Mode and DP 2.1 UHBR20 for up to 80Gbps full-bandwidth connectivity. The FO27Q28G is the last of this lineup.
The AORUS ELITE series sets itself apart thanks to a suite of GIGABYTE’s exclusive technology. These include:
- Hyper Nits – intelligently boosts HDR brightness while preserving highlight detail
- AI Picture Mode – optimizes SDR content across different scenarios
- AI Super Resolution (exclusive to the FM275K16) – sharpens image clarity through intelligent upscaling
- Tactical HUD – anchors critical screen zones for situational awareness
- Tactical Crosshair – auto adapts re dand green color contrast for distraction-free aiming
The AORUS Elite series also features AI OLED CARE PRO, which includes:
- Auto Lock – reduces unnecessary panel usage when users step away
- Adaptive Light – adjusts brightness based on ambient conditions
- Automatic Pixel Clean
- Eye Care Reminder – tracks cumulative usage time and reminds users to take breaks
On top of these, the new gaming monitors have an enhanced thermal design with integrated heat pipes for a more consistent OELD performance over the long run.
