Nothing is reportedly developing its first-ever pair of AI-powered smart glasses, targeting a launch in H1 of 2027.

The upcoming wearable is expected to align with Nothing’s signature aesthetic, likely featuring the transparent design elements that have defined its Phone and Ear product lines. The first-generation glasses will reportedly skip a built-in display. Instead, the hardware will focus on an integrated array of cameras, microphones, and speakers.

The brand’s eyewear will likely function as a companion device. To keep the frames lightweight and sleek, the “heavy lifting” for AI processing will be offloaded to a paired smartphone and the cloud.

Moreover, CEO Carl Pei has reportedly pivoted toward a “multi-device strategy” to move the brand beyond its reliance on smartphones. This shift signals Nothing’s ambition to compete with tech giants like Meta, Google, and Apple in the burgeoning ambient computing market.

The glasses are still some time away from today. We will know more as the debut comes closer, so stay tuned.
