Marshall unveils special-edition version of the Marshall Emberton III and Studio 900 Combo amplifier featuring Year of the Horse designs by Chinese artist FCCK.
Marshall Emberton III Year of the Horse Edition
This year, Marshall has collaborated with Chinese artist, designer, and illustrator FCCK based in Chengdu to celebrate the Lunar New Year for the fourth year in a row.
FCCK charges into new creative territory with every one of his designs by blending illustrations, graphics patterns, and typography.
For the Marshall Emberton III and the Studio 900 Combo special edition, the artist draws inspiration from the Chinese phrase “脱缰野马” (literally translating to “a wild horse that has thrown off its reins”). Each design is a symbol of unbridled energy and a free-spirited nature, which is the theme for the 2026 edition of Lunar New Year.
“’Rational chaos’ is how I interpret the word unbridled. I stepped out of my comfort zone by using a mix of textures such as clay, wood carving, embroidery, paper cutting alongside graffiti, abstraction, and pop art to create different iterations of horses. The final visual expression best expresses the meaning of unbridled: like a horse running across the grasslands, spontaneous and free.” says FCCK.
The dynamic visual approach is seen on two special editions releases for the Studio 900 Combo amplifier and Emberton III speaker to provide all the horsepower needed for 2026 festivities.
The Emberton III, specifically, has a water transfer print or “hydra print” added to the matte smooth silicon sleeve.
Meanwhile, the Studio 900 Combo now features iconic Year of the Horse designs while still encapsulating the iconic Marshall 90s sound.
Pricing and Availability
In the Philippines, Digits Trading Corp, the exclusive distributor of Marshall in the Philippines, brings the special edition Marshall Emberton III. It will be available exclusively at Satchmi, SM Megamall, starting January 31, 2026 for PHP 11,990, and it is limited to just 70 units.
