Qualcomm has just launched the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4, the successor to the mid-range Snapdragon 6s Gen 3.

The Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 is the first member of the 6s series to be built on the TSMC 4nm process node. It is said to deliver up to 36% improved CPU performance and up to 59% faster GPU compared to its predecessor. 

The next-generation chipset features four Arm Cortex-A720-based performance cores at up to 2.4GHz and four Arm Cortex-A5200-based at up to 1.8GHz. It also handles up to LPDDR5X RAM at up to 3200MHz or LPDDR4X RAM at up to 2100MHz. 

It is equipped with a Adreno GPU that supports up to FHD+ at 144Hz, Moreover, it brings Snapdragon Elite Gaming features Variable Rate Shading and Qualcomm Game Quick Touch.

The chipset has the Qualcomm Spectra Image Sensor Processor. It supports up to a 200MP camera,16MP+16MP dual camera, or up to 32MP single camera. Moreover, you can handle up to 2K HDR Video Capture.  

For connectivity, the chipset features up to Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, Dual Bluetooth antennas, and LE Audio.

Qualcomm has not yet announced which devices will feature the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4. However, among the brands expected to use the new chipset include Xiaomi, OPPO, and moto.
