YouTube has officially launched YouTube Premium Lite in the Philippines, offering a new and more affordable way to enjoy most videos on the platform ad-free for as low as PHP 109 per month.

YouTube Premium Lite is designed for viewers who want an ad-free experience across various genres like gaming, fashion, beauty, cooking, and more on the platform. The new membership works across devices like phone, laptop, and TV.
However, being a Lite plan, commercials may still appear on music content and Shorts, or when you search or browse for content. You also won’t get to enjoy downloads or background play for videos.
The expansion comes as YouTube continues to innovate its subscription offerings following the success of YouTube Music and Premium. Moreover, it emphasizes YouTube’s commitment to offering flexible options that cater to diverse viewer preferences. The launch of Premium Lite also continues to create additional revenue opportunities for creators and partners.
Premium Lite is now available in the Philippines for as low as PHP 109 per month. In comparison, YouTube Premium is priced locally at PHP 189 per month.
