Home Credit, Skyro, Salmon, PayJoy, BillEase and Kredivo back the launch with participating credit card providers. Buyers can get up to PhP1,000 off or a cashback, and selected partners run raffles that can waive loan balances up to PhP84,000.

What you are buying

TECNO pairs the 6.39mm body with a 6,000mAh battery and 45W Super Charge. The 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED runs at 144Hz with TUV Rheinland low blue light certification, and a 50MP Sony LYTIA 700C with a 1/1.56-inch sensor leads the rear setup with an 8MP ultrawide and a 32MP front camera, backed by OIS, AI EIS and AI Shutter. Super-Zoom FlashSnap shoots up to 2x at shutter speeds as fast as 1/11236 second. A MediaTek Dimensity 7300e runs Android 16 with HiOS 16 on three major Android upgrades and five years of security patches, and the body carries IP69K, IP69, IP68 and IP66 plus MIL-STD-810 certification.

The CAMON Slim 5G measures 6.39mm and carries a 6,000mAh battery.

The MagBadge gets an SRP

The TECNO MagBadge launches alongside the phone at an SRP of PhP5,999. The magnetic accessory has a 1.73-inch display for photo display and media sync, rear-camera preview and remote shutter control from up to 10 meters, and pre-order buyers get a Limited Edition unit in the PhP10,000 bundle.

The launch and 100 Portraits of Becoming

TECNO introduced the phone on October 1 through MAKE IT LIGHTER: The Living Cover Runway, a fashion-led launch that put 15 women on stage, from entrepreneurs to Aubrey Miles and Megan Young. Its wider campaign is the Philippine chapter of 100 Portraits of Becoming, a portrait initiative with artist Angelica Dass.

Positioning against TECNO’s own lineup

The PhP27,999 SRP lands above the CAMON 50 Ultra 5G, which started at PhP19,999 when the CAMON 50 series launched in April. The Slim answers with a far thinner body and the same Sony LYTIA 700C main sensor, while the Ultra keeps its telephoto lens.
