Roxanne Jamora of Agdao was named the LG xboom IDOL 2026 Mindanao Grand Finalist in Davao City, topping the Davao leg held on September 12, 2026 at the EMCOR Atrium in Bajada. LG Electronics Philippines, co-presented with EMCOR, mounted the leg as part of its nationwide search for aspiring singers and dancers. The competition continues on October 11, 2026 at Ayala Malls Manila Bay.

A Davao stage for homegrown talent

LG Electronics Philippines mounted the LG xboom IDOL 2026 Mindanao leg together with EMCOR, carrying forward a nationwide search for the best pop talent in the country.

Roxanne Jamora tops the Davao leg

Eighteen registrants narrowed to 10 semi-finalists, and eight performers took the stage for the afternoon’s performances in the Davao leg. Three stood out: Merry Grace Simbajon of Digos, Cristine Joyce “CJ” Bunao of Tanza, and Roxanne Jamora of Agdao.

Jamora emerged at the top with an average score of 97.58%, earning the Mindanao Grand Finalist title along with a trophy and a certificate. The other semi-finalists received medals and certificates for their performances, and 10 LG xboom Minis were raffled off to audience members during the program. During the LG xboom IDOL 2026 Davao leg, a special intermission performance kept the crowd energized between sets.

A stage built for LG xboom sound

The LG xboom Stage 501 is the centerpiece of the search, designed for singing, karaoke sessions, and live performances, with its bold, room-filling sound. Elimination-round winners took home an LG xboom Stage 501 with ₱5,000 in cash, while other selected performers received an LG xboom Mini with ₱2,000 in cash.

Prizes in the national finals

The national finals offer bigger rewards: the fifth-place winner receives ₱10,000 and a 50-inch LG Nano UHD 4K Smart TV, third and fourth place each receive ₱20,000 and a 50-inch LG Nano UHD 4K Smart TV, second place takes ₱50,000 and a 55-inch LG Nano UHD 4K Smart TV, and the first-place winner receives ₱100,000 and a trip for two to Seoul, South Korea.

“Through LG xboom IDOL, we want to create more opportunities for aspiring performers to be seen, heard, and celebrated,” said Yongwoo Park, Media Solutions Product Director, LG Electronics Philippines. “It’s our way of bringing people closer to music while showing how LG xboom can make every performance feel more alive, more shared, and more memorable.”

The competition heads to Manila Bay

From Davao, LG xboom IDOL 2026 heads to its next leg on October 11, 2026 at Ayala Malls Manila Bay, where more aspiring singers and dancers can join the search.
