LG Electronics Philippines and Addessa Corporation held the LG xboom Idol North Luzon leg on August 9 at Harbor Point Ayala Malls Subic Bay. The event drew 65 registrants, and LG Electronics Philippines selected 15 of them as semi-finalists.
LG xboom Idol looks for aspiring singers and dancers across the Philippines, with a focus on standout pop talent. Contestants get to show their talent and stage presence in front of a live crowd, and experience LG xboom audio firsthand while doing it.
LG xboom Stage 501
The LG xboom Stage 501 is designed for singing and karaoke. It delivers bigger, clearer sound for auditions, mall activations and gatherings with friends and family.
Its strong audio output and performance-ready design suit aspiring talents who want their voice and music to carry across a venue with ease. It joins the LG xboom AI speaker lineup in the Philippines.
LG xboom Idol North Luzon Winners
The Top 3 were announced at the close of the program: Cristine Joyce Bunao (Contestant No. 8) from Cavite, Rhoncie Ibarra (Contestant No. 7) from Quezon City, and Rachel Ann Clemente (Contestant No. 3) from Mandaluyong. Clemente was named the LG xboom Idol 2026 North Luzon Grand Finalist.
Standout participants in the elimination round received either an LG xboom Stage 501 with PHP 5,000 in cash, or an LG xboom Mini with PHP 2,000 in cash. Ten LG xboom Mini units were also raffled off to attendees, and audience activities kept the atmosphere lively throughout the day.

Grand Finals Prizes
The grand finals have bigger prizes. The 5th place winner receives PHP 10,000 and an LG Nano UHD 4K Smart TV. The 3rd and 4th place winners each get PHP 20,000 and the same TV, while the 2nd place winner takes home PHP 50,000 and the TV.
The 1st place winner receives PHP 100,000 and a trip for two to Seoul, South Korea.
LG xboom Idol’s Next Leg: Iloilo
The next LG xboom Idol event is on September 25 at Festive Walk Mall Iloilo. If you sing or dance, it is another chance to step onto the stage and try LG xboom firsthand.
LG Electronics Philippines is inviting more aspiring performers to join, with more legs still ahead after Iloilo.
