Maya Credit Cards key visual: both cards now run on one Maya shared credit limit

Eligible Maya cardholders can now hold the Landers Cashback Everywhere Credit Card and the Maya Black Credit Card under one total credit limit. Instead of a separate ceiling for each plastic, both cards draw on a single Maya shared credit limit, so every purchase made on either card is deducted from the same pool of available credit.

That is the core of the update: a second card no longer means a second limit. The setup gives cardholders more room to choose which rewards to earn on a given purchase, without adding another line of credit to keep track of.

How the Maya shared credit limit works

The two cards keep separate reward programs inside one credit line. The Landers Cashback Everywhere Credit Card earns 5% cashback at Landers Superstore, 2% cashback on dining, and 1% cashback on most other transactions. Cashback earned can be used toward purchases at Landers, which turns everyday spending into grocery savings.

The Maya Black Credit Card takes a different route. It earns up to 10x Maya Miles at Maya Black Preferred Merchants, and those miles can be redeemed for travel and lifestyle rewards. A cardholder can use the Landers card for a supermarket run, then switch to the Maya Black card on purchases where earning miles makes more sense.

Both cards, one app

Cardholders manage the pair in the Maya app. The app shows spending per card and how much of the limit is still available, and each card keeps its own Statement of Account, so transactions and amounts due stay separate even though the credit line is shared.

Existing Maya card features already run through the same app. The Mini Payments option for Maya Black and Landers Cashback Everywhere purchases, for example, is also managed there.

The announcement did not include a rollout date or new fees for the two cards. Maya Bank, which issues them, is a digital bank regulated by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas. Cardholders who want to run both cards under one Maya shared credit limit can check their options through the Maya app or the bank’s official site.
