“S” means Smart in Huawei Pura 90s?
Smart Communications has opened pre-orders for the HUAWEI Pura 90s Series, giving subscribers access to the Pura 90s Pro Max and Pura 90s Pro through Smart Postpaid and Smart Infinity plans until August 19.
The new smartphones pair Huawei’s AI-powered photography features with 5G connectivity, targeting creators, professionals, travelers, and mobile users who regularly shoot, upload, stream, and work from their phones.
AI photography and 5G
The HUAWEI Pura 90s Pro Max leads the lineup with a 200MP ultra-large-sensor telephoto camera and 20x telephoto zoom. It also includes AI editing and shooting tools such as AI Glare Removal, AI Object Relocation, and intelligent camera guidance.
Both devices also feature Celia, Huawei’s built-in AI assistant. Smart says the phones can take advantage of its 5G network for uploading high-resolution photos and videos, livestreaming, cloud backups, collaborative work, streaming, and gaming.
Plans and pricing
The HUAWEI Pura 90s Series is available under Smart’s All-New Postpaid Plans+ 999 and higher. These plans include UNLI App Bundles, 12 months of UNLI 5G in covered areas, Open-Access Data, and prioritized access to the Smart network.

Installment offers are available at 0% interest through participating Metrobank, Security Bank, BPI, UnionBank, HSBC, and RCBC credit cards. Subscribers can also get the devices through Smart Infinity Plan 5000 or Infinity Plan 8000, while Smart Prepaid bundles offer another option for buyers seeking more flexibility.
Pre-order bonuses
Customers who pre-order either device through Smart Postpaid will receive a HUAWEI Watch Fit Pro, a HUAWEI Pura 90s Gift Box, and HUAWEI Care+ device coverage.
Smart Infinity members will receive the same bonuses, plus HUAWEI FreeArc Buds. Pre-orders may be placed through Smart’s HUAWEI Pura 90s page or at Smart Stores nationwide.
