Did you know that Google has decided to turn the anticipation for the new BTS album, ARIRANG, into a literal game in Google Search? Yes, while waiting for the long-awaited comeback from the massive Korean pop group, you can join the BTS Scavenger Hunt.

Google Search – BTS Secret Rewards

The BTS Scavenger Hunt is back on Google Search and is a digital love letter to the ARMY. A few years ago, there was the purple balloon madness. But this year’s hunt is said to be an upgrade by letting you unlock exclusive content and member-specific rewards simply by Googling the members.

To start the hunt, type BTS into the Google Search bar and click on the small bottle that will appear on the bottom right of your screen.

The hunt itself is a series of trivia questions and puzzles that test your knowledge of the group’s decade-long journey. This includes the first Billboard No. 1 to lyric-based emoji puzzles that might leave you a bit like a Hooligan if you get them wrong.

Every quest solved unlocks up to 14 collectible cards – exclusive tracklist art featuring the actual handwriting of the members, as well as closer to the ARIRANG album.

You can get your first look at the tracklist through the members’ own pens – from the bold, steady lines of Jungkook’s SWIM to the personal touch of Jin’s Merry Go Round. These are the first pieces of the ARIRANG puzzle.

Google is staggering the excitement. Right now, you can start your initial quest to find all 14 rewards tagged as “Your love songs”. On March 9 and March 16, new sealed quests will unlock. Then on March 20, the album officially drops.

Let the scavenger hunt begin on Google Search while you wait for ARIRANG.
